Day 1: Welcome to Paadar Aurora Villas

Paadar Aurora Villas is a unique wilderness retreat located just offering a perfect blend of the nature and modern comfort and all designed to maximise views of the mid night sun. The Paadar Aurora Villas provides a variety of summer activities such as river boat Lake Paadar trips, fishing trips, huskies, Lake Inari cruising. Paadar Aurora Villas ensures an unforgettable stay in Finnish Lapland.

Day 2 and onwards: Summer Adventures & Mid Night Sun 

Paadar Aurora Villas offer a vast range of summer activities. See the separate list of the activities and services so you can choose either in advance or ready-made program as below to reenergise for the outside world.

Staying in a Paadar Aurora Villa is a remarkable opportunity to experience the the Mid Night Sun as never before, with beautiful cabins having sauna and outdoor jacuzzi with an unobstructed view of the Mid Night Sun through the Villa windows or from outside warm jacuzzi.

Lake Paadar Cruising, Fishing Adventure, or Midnight Sun Cruise

Experience the stunning Lake Paadar on a guided boat tour. As we cruise, you’ll be captivated by the serene beauty of this wilderness lake, with its sandy beaches along the Lemmenjoki River and historic buildings on the shore that reflect a rich and varied way of life. We’ll pause for coffee and snacks before continuing our journey.

Huskies

embark on a husky adventure, where our dogs will lead you deep into the Finnish Lapland wilderness, showcasing the region’s breathtaking beauty. Each guest will be paired with their own husky companion for the walk, with our experienced guide leading the way. Our older dogs are also eager to join the pack, enjoying the attention and affection they receive along the journey. During the trip, we’ll take a break to enjoy snacks and drinks, while the guide shares fascinating insights into the lives of our beloved huskies.

SIIDA and Lake Inari cruise: 

Visit Siida – the Sámi Museum and Lapland Visitor Centre on your own. The exhibitions show how nature and people have adapted to the extreme conditions of the northern environment. Stunning photographs, videos, dioramas, soundscapes and original objects will guide you through the seasons and the past. 

Embark on a cruise across Lake Inari, a pristine wilderness lake with 3,318 islands. During the journey, you’ll visit the renowned ‘Ukko’ (Äijih) Island, an ancient sacred site once used for Sámi sacrificial rituals.

Hiking trip to Lemmenjoki National Park

Possibility to visit the park’s information centre. 

Lemmenjoki Nature Trail 4.5 km: starts from Njurkulahti and follows the course of the Lemmenjoki River. At the beginning of the route there are old deer hunting pits and ridge formations. After a few kilometers the route turns east and winds through rolling pine forests back to its starting point. There are Campfire site and information boards.
